Club members can normally be found at a local pub after climbing evenings, or talks.

Anyone interested in joining the club is welcome to come along, but it's worth getting in touch with our Secretary first.

SMC/JMCS talks

During the winter months, the JMCS organises (along with the SMC) guest talks from famous (and not so famous!) mountaineers. The venue is South Side Community Centre, at 117 Nicolson Street, Edinburgh. Talks begin at 7.30pm sharp.

AGM and Annual Dinner

The Club AGM and Annual Dinner takes place on a Saturday during November, usually at a venue outside Edinburgh.

members' slide night

The Club holds an annual slide night in December each year, which provides an opportunity to see what everyone's been up to during the year.
