From Edinburgh head north on the M90 to Perth, then continue along the A90 to the Dundee ring road. Follow this round Dundee until you turn left heading for Forfar (following the A90 all the way). Follow the A90 to Forfar, but then turn left onto the A926 to Kirriemuir. Go through Kirriemuir following signs for the Angus glens and then Glen Clova, along the B955. At the Clova Hotel continue north westwards towards Glen Doll for another 2.5 miles. The crags are visible up on the hillside on the right. Either park at a small 'lay-by' on the road slightly before the crags, or about .3 miles further on in Braedownie quarry for climbing on the Doonie.
